Words by initiates

I traverse the infinite Universe where all possibilities exist
Beautiful free floating space
There is no beginning nor end
I am nothing
I am everything
I am free
I am God
I am

What is light
It the brightness from the SUN
It is the beginning of being ONE
With your Higher Self
It is the Creation of All
It is the transmutation and transfiguration
of all that embrace the light
It is in the AGAPE LOVE
It is within all creatures that embrace the light
So move forward and onward on your path
in truth and honesty and perserverance
The road may be rocky
But in the Light all paths are cleared
to enable us to move forward
in TRUTH HOPE JOY AND LIGHT

Working with Archetypes

Archetypes appear in our life more often than we know. Signs and symbols are ways that our spirit guides communicate with us, but moreover it is the way we interpret life and we need these symbols to help us learn.

One such way we can work with these archetypes, signs and symbols is through meditation, so that we are more aware when they are trying to teach us things. As initiates, we are encouraged to meditate 2 hours a day. But how many of us do that? How successful are we at calming and stilling the mind? How good are we at recognizing all the symbols when they appear in our life?

In almost every issue of Magus, we publish an Archetypal Meditation, created by Master Teacher Lorraine Henrich. These meditations are informational articles about the gods and goddess and their qualities, attributes and powers — and how they can and do affect our lives.

It is a great introduction to working with the archetypal energies and at the same time, you are entering into a state of active meditation where you will learn more about yourself and the world around you!

Archetypal Meditations in Magus by Lorraine Henrich:

- Cu Chulain: Warrior of Courage, helps us to remember letting go of fear allows each of us to fully embrace the joy of life

- Osiris: Temple meditation to prepare our mind, body and hearts for Egyptian Magick

- Athena: Transformative Goddess of Wisdom and Power

- Receiving the true blessings of Buddha: Meditation on the 5 Dhyani Buddhas

- Lilith: Mother of Earth
The quest for Lilith reflects our quest to find turth and reconnect to the parts of the earth we have separated from

The Matrix

By Phyllis Livera, Ritual Master (Third Step), Guide

Pushing and shoving
Toiling and boiling
for the boss the slave drive the taker of souls
wondering what's becoming of me
the matrix is coming pushing me under
a spell of ignorance, false bliss and apathy
trudging harder and harder

I've decided not be the fodder for the creatures of the deep and dark abyss
to slither and crawl up and eat my heart, mind and body and soul
what will become of mankind if he/she does not wake up and grow
into that true God human being who can manifest, express and with deliberateness change the MATRIX.......
